Update from Grandpa:
It's evening in Room 385 and all is well. Grandpa had a quieter day today and is doing well. His appetite seems to be growing and improving more towards normal.
He's chatting away on the phone: calling his brother and touching base with extended family.
Being Sunday, the Bishop (appropriately) visited and brought some blessings and buckets of prayers. Thank you again to all who contributed. We're so grateful for the support we've felt thus far and have seen the tremendous impact of prayer.

Jim, Mary Schroyer left a message this evening (July 9th). My goodness! Wrestling a tractor is something I would expect from a Duke grad, but not from a refined North Carolina gentleman. You are an absolute treasure. (Okay, I have been a member of the Walton fan club since first meeting you and Pat in 1986, so I am beyond redemption.) All warm wishes, faith in a strong recovery, and prayers for both tender blessings and daily moments of quiet joy are sent your way.
